On 14 and 15 November 2019, London Resilience, part of the Greater London Authority, combined with five other international cities to launch the results of 18 months' work on the formation of the Counter Terrorism Preparedness Network (CTPN). This network brings together strategic leaders, practitioners and academics to inform city-level policies and practices that build resilience and keep cities and communities safe from terrorism.

The CTPN assembles six member cities, 12 resilience leaders, seven academic partners and seven independent experts. See the Overview here.

The CTPN has produced five strategic reports covering anti-radicalisation, community preparedness, humanitarian assistance, protecting major events and crowded places, and strategic co-ordination. These reports have been published internationally and can be found at the links given below. (Note: the report on Protecting Major Events and Crowded Places is 'official-sensitive' and not publicly available.)
